Winter Weather Campus Update
Out of an abundance of caution, Kennesaw State University will move to modified operations on Tuesday, January 21. All in-person classes will convert to remote instruction protocols determined by each instructor. The Minor in Native American and Indigenous Studies promotes the understanding of Indigenous cultures, histories, and contemporary issues. This program provides an interdisciplinary foundation that also allows you to focus your studies within a specific discipline. Balancing a regional focus on the Native South with a national and global overview of Indigenous cultures, this minor program includes a range of courses that demonstrate the continued importance of Indigenous perspectives in the United States and the world.
