Minor in Gerontology

The multi-disciplinary field of gerontology deals with the sociology, psychology, and physiology of aging. You will consider specific research and theories of aging as well as participate in field trip experiences in gerontological settings. A key goal is to develop a more realistic perception of the aging process. With a Minor in Gerontology, you will further develop and refine your academic plans, career paths, and personal and professional goals related to working with older adults.
