Winter Weather Campus Update
Out of an abundance of caution, Kennesaw State University will move to modified operations on Tuesday, January 21. All in-person classes will convert to remote instruction protocols determined by each instructor. Students should refer to course syllabi or D2L for details on how learning will continue during Modified Operations. All online classes will continue as scheduled. The Minor in German Studies is a valuable complement to the academic portfolio of a student pursuing any major, who wishes to add an international dimension to their academic and professional profile. When you supplement your degree with a German Studies Minor, you are increasing your professional marketability with a great number of international and domestic employers who have connections to or value the German-speaking cultures.
As a student in the German Studies Minor, you have access to grant-supported study abroad experiences and diverse extracurricular offerings in the KSU German Studies program.
The minor in German Studies requires 15 hours of GRMN course work at the level of 2002 or above. These 15 hours must include:
Advanced speakers should consult with a German advisor about testing options using the Advanced Standing examinations available in the Department of World Languages and Cultures.
