Mobile Health (mHealth) Certificate

The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in mHealth trains future researchers in mobile Health (mHealth). This rapidly evolving field typically uses phones, tablets, wearables, sensors, and other health-related devices for various purposes, including disease surveillance, treatment support, epidemic outbreak tracking, health research, chronic disease management, and healthcare delivery. This certificate program allows students from various backgrounds to develop the skills needed to create, implement, and evaluate mHealth initiatives in diverse settings to address complex health and healthcare delivery issues.

Distinguished by its commitment to innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration, our Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education is proud to spearhead mHealth education and research advancements. In anticipation of the evolving technological landscape, we are excited to announce the upcoming launch of the mHealth Concentration Certificate in 2025.

This groundbreaking initiative will equip scholars with the skills to harness the power of mobile health (mHealth) technologies for data collection, analysis, and interpretation. By leveraging data from various health-related devices, including watches, phones, wearables, and sensors, this certificate program will empower researchers to drive impactful change in public health.
