Winter Weather Campus Update
Out of an abundance of caution, Kennesaw State University will move to modified operations on Tuesday, January 21. All in-person classes will convert to remote instruction protocols determined by each instructor. Students should refer to course syllabi or D2L for details on how learning will continue during Modified Operations. All online classes will continue as scheduled. The Certificate in Information Security and Assurance is designed for students with an interest in Information Security and its application in the expanding field of technology. The certificate program emphasizes the skills and knowledge necessary to protect and inspect systems, and to detect and react to threats to the security of information in those systems. The certificate requires 15 semester hours (5 courses), and all coursework must be completed with a “C” or better.
This certificate cannot be awarded to students who earn the BBA with a major in Information Security and Assurance or the BS with a major in Cybersecurity.
