Be engaged in art history with the Bachelor of Arts in Art History (B.A.) at Kennesaw State University in Georgia in the College of the Arts. The Arts History degree will introduce you to visual culture from various historical periods, regions, and contexts. You’ll learn how to analyze both objects and texts as historical evidence. You’ll also examine all aspects of visual culture in society, including techniques, makers, patrons, viewers, and collectors.
The program is rigorous, global, and interdisciplinary. You’ll explore art history and take courses in related disciplines such as anthropology, film studies, gender and women’s studies, history, literature, philosophy, and studio art. You’ll study at least one ancient or modern language that is associated with your main area of interest.
