Kennesaw State is one of only three universities in Georgia to offer a specific major in the ever-evolving discipline of Public Relations. The public relations major gives you an education that includes case study analysis, public relations writing, crisis communication and graphic design for organizational publications. You will also learn persuasion methods and strategies and the use of social media and other multimedia communication strategies in public relations.
Internships and study tours to New York and Atlanta public relations agencies supplement the traditional classroom and online learning settings. The program also features a student-run public relations agency that provides you the opportunity to earn credit for your capstone class.
