Instructional Video Production

Instructional media development and delivery require selecting suitable institutional technologies, employing effective multimedia strategies, developing engaging and accessible content aligned with learning objectives, adapting materials to emerging technologies, integrating media within course components, and leveraging platforms like MediaSpace for production and delivery.

Effective multimedia strategies include chunking content into manageable segments, using visuals and audio to enhance understanding, and ensuring accessibility through closed captioning. Engaging multimedia content like videos, audio files, and presentations should meet diverse learning needs and clearly align with objectives. As media is seamlessly integrated within course materials, activities, and assessments on platforms like D2L, the learning experience and assessments are enhanced. Platforms like MediaSpace enable effective media production and delivery, including closed captioning, embedded quizzes, video analytics, and archiving.
