Roger Tutterow, director of the Econometric Center at Kennesaw State University, was recently featured in Atlanta Journal-Constitution,which covered a presentation at Cobb Energy Center on the state of the economy as a result of the pandemic. Tutterow believes the pandemic has left the economy less efficient than it was before the pandemic, and that a recession is likely in 2023.

Texts from scammers impersonating the United States Postal Service are becoming increasingly common, with the perpetrators convincing consumers to click on fraudulent tracking links. Assistant Professor of Information Security and Assurance Andy Green warns that, during the recent holiday season, cyber attackers took advantage of distracted holiday shoppers, convincing them to click on links they should not have.
