Kennesaw State University’s Master of Business Administration program is ranked as one the nation’s top online programs by The Princeton Review.

The education services company ranked Kennesaw State No. 29 in its feature, Top 50 Online MBA Programs for 2021. This marks the University’s first appearance on The Princeton Review’s annual online MBA program rakings and Kennesaw State is the highest-ranked Georgia institution on the list.

“The KSU WebMBA program is perfect for working professionals eager to develop analytical and ethical leadership skills in order to deliver value to their organizations,” said Dennis Marrow, Director of MBA programs for Kennesaw State’s Michael J. Coles College of Business. “And because the program is 100 percent online, students earn their KSU WebMBA without disrupting their lives. Seeing the program recognized by The Princeton Review is a great reminder that the business education students receive at KSU is important to the metro Atlanta business community.”

The Princeton Review based their rankings on five core areas: academics, selectivity, faculty, technical platforms, and career outcomes. Their data is an assessment of surveys from MBA program administrators across 125 different business schools, and from 6,000 students currently enrolled in online MBA programs. This approach guarantees that rankings reflect a comprehensive makeup of the program and the students’ impression of its value.

“Everything I have learned in this WebMBA program has had an almost immediate real-world application in my job,” said Yana Perros, a WebMBA student who graduates in Summer 2021. Perros is a field manager with Porsche Cars North America. She said the program’s cohort structure and courses on organizational behavior, accounting, and marketing have made her more effective in her organization.

“That is true strength of the program and the real benefit to all students,” she said.

For LaRell Reynolds, an associate producer for CNN who will graduate this spring, the real value of the program is its ability to grow one’s confidence at working independently and with a team.

“Each class is tailored in an entrepreneurial way,” he said. “You are given deliverables, but it is up to each cohort to decide how to accomplish those assignments. This mirrors the real world, where you won’t have handholding through assignments. This structure allows individuals to manage themselves and manage a team as they grow to be leaders.”

Kennesaw State’s online MBA program has earned many accolades in recent years. CEO Magazine ranked the program 56th in its 2020 Online Global MBA Rankings, MBA Central ranked the program No. 3 in the state, and Online MBA Report ranked the WebMBA program 1st in Georgia and 9th in the region.

The WebMBA program offers students a team-based cohort structure that promotes efficient student interactions, peer-to-peer learning, and long-lasting relationships. Students take two courses at a time for five consecutive terms from faculty who are experts in their fields and in online class delivery. The KSUMBA program is a part of the highly recognized Georgia WebMBA Consortium.
