programs for an interactive lunch and learn to showcase successful alumni and local
business leaders.
Tony Ballard, KSU PhD student and U.S. Air Force Veteran will be our speaker. The theme of Tony's discussion is: "How do you want to be remembered? Listen, Learn, Observe and Pay it Forward".

LaFrance “Tony” Ballard, a decorated U.S. Air Force veteran and accomplished talent development professional, brings over 20 years of expertise in people operations and talent transformation. In the banking industry, Tony championed initiatives to streamline onboarding, reduce training costs, and implement innovative learning programs, driving significant improvements in employee engagement and performance. His experience also includes leading sponsorship and mentoring programs, optimizing learning management systems, and designing impactful training frameworks that reached over 200,000 employees across North America and four international regions. During his Air Force career, Tony managed large-scale programs and projects across five states, Japan, Germany, Qatar, Kuwait, and Afghanistan. His assignments at the Headquarters Air Force Personnel Center and the Pentagon supported a workforce of over 697,000 global employees. Tony’s insights into leadership and professional development stem from his hands-on experience, an unwavering commitment to excellence, and a relentless dedication to empowering individuals and teams to achieve their highest potential.
