Welcome to the official website of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Kennesaw State University. 

Aaron Howell was appointed Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer in February 2020. Aaron has nearly 25 years of higher education experience, having previously served as Vice President for Business and Finance/CFO for Averett University for five years, and prior to that, almost 20 years with Oregon State University, culminating in his tenure as Assistant Vice President & Controller. A certified public accountant, Aaron earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance and an MBA from Oregon State University.

The VPF/CFO oversees the Office of Fiscal Services and is charged with oversight and fiduciary management of all areas of the institution’s financial portfolio and for providing services to all campus stakeholders.
