Join us in congratulating Sang Dae Lee, who has been honored as the laureate of the 2024 American Prize for Architecture by the Chicago Athenaeum! 

Established in 1994, The American Prize for Architecture is given to an outstanding office and/or practitioner in the United States that have emblazoned a new direction in the history of American Architecture with talent, vision, and commitment and has demonstrated consistent contributions to humanity through the built environment and through the art of architecture.

“I am deeply honored to be named the laureate of the 2024 American Prize for Architecture,” said Lee, who teaches in Kennesaw State’s Department of Architecture. “For me, this prize is not just a recognition of past achievements but also a moment of reflection and renewal. It challenges me to confront complacency and resist the temptation of pursuing architecture with ease.”

Call for Fall 2025 Focus Studio Proposals

2025 Focus Studio.

CACM is currently seeking proposals for Fifth-Year Focus Studios during the Fall semester of 2025. The Fifth-Year Focus Studios are intended to introduce the student to design research and its application while adhering to creativity, critical thinking, processes of making, and constructability.

 

Submission Deadline: February 5th, 2025 @ 11:59 PM (EST)

 

Applicants must email their submission materials to doarch@kennesaw.edu with "Focus Studio Fall 2025 Proposal" in the subject line.
