The KSU College of Professional Education, in collaboration with the KSU Department of Architecture, offers Rhino and Grasshopper Certificates taught by Dr. Arash Soleimani for students and professionals.

• Rhino Essentials Certificate
  This beginner to intermediate course introduces techniques of 2D and 3D modeling using Rhinoceros (Rhino). The course introduces fundamental skills in architectural modeling and rendering using Rhino, ideal for designers looking to become proficient 3D modelers and renderers.
• Rhino Advanced Certificate
  This course introduces advanced modeling techniques with practical examples of efficient
  modeling techniques, modeling strategies and advanced surfacing. It’s ideal for those working in product design, furniture design, sculpture, film, automotive and related fields.
• Grasshopper for Architects I: Generative Scripting for Beginners
  This course introduces basic principles of parametric design using Grasshopper plugin for Rhino. This class covers basic concepts of computer science to develop algorithms in order to inform the process of design thorough parametric thinking.
• Grasshopper for Architects II: Advanced Generative-Analytical Scripting
  This course introduces advanced computational methods that relate to the design process. You will be introduced to Grasshopper plugins such as DIVA for environmental analysis and programming platforms such as Python for advanced scripting.
