Ms. Lyons-Uko has advised undergraduate students in the KSU College of Architecture and Construction Management since October 2018 and has over seven years of professional experience in higher education. Prior to her work at Kennesaw State University, Ms. Lyons-Uko served as an Academic Advisor at both Georgia State University and Georgia Southern University. Ishmela is a proud alumna of Georgia Southern University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting.
Ms. Lyons-Uko excels in advising students to strategically align course schedules and academic plans with each student’s individual academic and professional objectives. She works with students to set attainable, actionable goals to improve academic performance.
