Environmental Technology: Systems and Materials Class Tour

The Kendeda Center for Innovative Sustainable Design to learn firsthand, how a building can produce more energy than it consumes. During the tour, Director of The Kendeda Center, Shan Arora informed the students that “we’re fast approaching the end of the luxury of saying that we can have one thing to do one function. We need to figure out ways for our built environment to have multiple functions.” The building will serve as living-learning laboratory for sustainability in order to inspire change on the across the Southeast building industry.
