After a nationwide search, the Urban Land Institute (ULI) has selected 15-25 students to participate in the inaugural cohort of the Etkin Scholars Program. The Kennesaw State University Architecture Department is proud to announce that students Dalavanh Thanasouk, Shai' Nibbs, and Elijah Swift have been selected to join the program.
The Etkin Student Scholars Program is designed to immerse its participants into the thriving real estate industry in their respective state in order to:
Foster future leaders in commercial real estate and related fields: planning, urban
design, community and economic development, law, construction, historic preservation,
architecture, landscape architecture, etc.
Introduce undergraduate and graduate students to the benefits of the Urban Land Institute
(ULI) and interdisciplinary thinking.
Improve students’ understanding of the professional roles and disciplines that contribute to best practice and innovation in real estate and land use globally.
Connect students to their local ULI District Council for networking and learning.
From October 2021 through April 2022, our three KSU Architecture students will attend
ULI Atlanta events, committees, become volunteers, and network with ULI members to
enhance their scholastic endeavors and learn the benefits of ULI membership.
