Academic Advisor Juliet Ramirez Thomas, a proud Bronx, New York native, received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and minor in Intergroup Dialogue Relations from Skidmore College and received a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Merrimack College. With over 6 years of professional experience in higher education, Juliet has worked at different institutions including, Middlesex Community College (Lowell, MA), Wheelock College in (Boston, MA) and Georgia State University (Atlanta, GA). Juliet specializes in student success and engagement and often attends professional conferences to gain insight to implement new strategies. A strong believer in social justice and equity, Juliet dedicates her time working with underrepresented youths and helping others grapple with concepts of social identity and systematic oppression. Juliet enjoys the moon, poetry, art galleries, long walks, eating plant-based meals, and embracing her Garifuna cultural background.
