Celebrate Creativity at Kennesaw State University's Annual Spring Arts Festival

KENNESAW, Ga. | Mar 7, 2025

Join us for a family-friendly day of art, activities, and fun on March 22 at the Chastain Pointe Studios

Kennesaw State University’s School of Art and Design will host its annual, family-friendly Spring Arts Festival on Saturday, March 22, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Chastain Pointe Studios on the Kennesaw campus.

Assistant Director of the KSU School of Art and Design Craig Brasco says, “We are excited to once again host the Spring Arts Festival. We will have many fun faculty-led activities such as painting, Korean Mulberry paper fan making, soft sculpture (plushie making), resin art, a giant puppet parade, and so much more.”

The festival will also include the always popular Artist’s Market. Brasco notes that the market will feature over 50 current and former KSU students who will be showcasing and selling their art.

Public and private schools in the surrounding community are also encouraged to participate in the annual juried Art Show. This show invites young artists and students grades K-12 from local schools to showcase their work and submit it for judging in one of four categories: elementary, middle, high school, and Art from the Heart.

The event is being held at Chastain Pointe 115 Studio, which houses the studios for KSU’s Drawing, Painting, and Printmaking programs. It also contains distinct working areas for book arts, intaglio, letterpress, lithography, papermaking, relief, and serigraphy. Attendees will have the opportunity to see these spaces in action through the workshops, demonstrations, and the market.

There will be swag bags for all attendees (while supplies last) and Zama Mexican Cuisine’s food truck will be on site to offer lunch options available for purchase. There will also be a special visit from Scrappy the Great Horned Owl – KSU's very own winged mascot!

“The day is sure to offer something for everyone!” Brasco says.

Don’t miss this free, family-friendly event on Saturday, March 22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Parking for this event will be at KSU's Town Point, and shuttles will be provided to transport guests to Chastain Pointe for the event. The address for parking is 3391 Town Point Dr NW, Kennesaw 30144.
