In collaboration with the KSU Writing Center, this workshop aims to teach student the professional etiquette of writing emails, key communication cues, asking questions, consulting up, and quality verbal and written communication skills.

Excelling at Academic Skills: Concentration, & College Level Reading

The workshop aims to equip students with essential academic skills necessary for success in college. Participants will learn effective time management techniques, enhance their concentration abilities, and develop strategies for tackling college-level reading materials.

Excelling at Academic Skills: Taking Study-Worthy Notes

The workshop aims to equip first-year college students with effective note-taking strategies that enhance comprehension, memory retention, and overall academic success.

Excelling at Academic Skills: Test-Taking Tips

The workshop aims to provide practical strategies and techniques to help students perform at their best during tests and exams. Whether it’s managing test anxiety or improving test-taking skills, participants will gain valuable insights to excel academically.

What's Your Learning Style?

Workshop that allows student to take a quiz assessment to discover their learning style. We will cover various study and note-taking techniques that align with different learning style.

This Fall we are offering 40 "regular" workshops, 3 English Language Program (ELP) workshops, and 2 Graduate Writing Program (GWP) workshops. All Owls are welcome!
