Admissions Requirements

  • Resume - Detailing Your Professional Work Experience.
  • Transcripts - Official transcripts from EACH College and/or University you have attended. Must be in a sealed envelope from the institution or sent electronically from the institution directly to ksugrad@kennesaw.edu.
  • Statement of Interest - 1-2 pages describing why you are interested in the KSU MSIS program and how the program fits with your career/educational goals.
  • GMAT Score Report - Request that your scores be sent electronically to KSU. The KSU school code for score reporting is 5359.

You may qualify to apply for a GMAT alternative within the application if you meet one or more of these 3 exceptions (qualifying to apply for a GMAT waiver does not necessarily mean that the waiver will be granted - the program's decision in this regard will be binding and non-negotiable):

    1. A previous graduate-level degree from an appropriately accredited university in USA/Canada.

    2. Five (5) or more years of professional, full-time, post baccalaureate work experience.

    3. Three (3) or more years of professional, full-time, post baccalaureate information industry work experience.

Note: If your undergrad degree is from outside US/Canada and you do not have a graduate degree from an appropriately accredited university in US/Canada, GMAT waiver may not be possible.
