FUNDING NEEDS The Civil War Center continues to organize and host annual symposia for academic audiences and Civil War enthusiasts. Each symposium features nationally recognized experts. Papers presented at the scholarly symposium may be organized into proceedings and published for distribution to both symposium participants and Civil War scholars across the country. In addition, the Center plans to initiate a series of Civil War themed educational trips to various domestic and international destinations. The Center will also continue its work in securing both primary and secondary research
materials. These manuscripts, photographs, microforms, and books must be
collected, organized, maintained, and protected for scholars, students, and
the interested public. You may make online donations by visiting this page. Select the 'Give Now' button, then, after creating an account, please select the 'Center for Civil War Studies' in the 'Designation' drop-down box. Many employers offer matching donation programs. Please follow the instructions provided, and make your gift payable to “KSU Foundation” and note that your gift is reserved for the Civil War Center. Please return your employer’s matching gift form, with your section completed, along with your personal gift to: KSU Foundation Note, specific instructions will vary with each participating employer. Naming opportunities are available for these and other needs associated with the Center. If you are interested in supporting The Civil War Center, and have questions, please contact Dr. Brian S.
